Redwood Tennis Club

​​Welcome to the Redwood Tennis Club website.



Redwood Tennis Club is affiliated to the Suburban Tennis Clubs association (A group of clubs that play a more social level of tennis cooperating to assist each other).

We are a small and friendly club situated in Redwood Park on Main North Road behind the Redwood Kindergarten and Redwood library. We have six courts, five doubles courts and one singles court.

At Redwood Tennis Club we offer junior coaching on a Saturday morning in the summer season ie from September through to March. Groups and times are dependent on age and ability. Our junior tennis coach is Peter van Kasteren.   Peter is also very willing to help senior players improve their play. 

​

Redwood Senior Tennis is for anyone aged 18+. We play on Saturday afternoons starting from 1.30 pm and going through until approximately 5.30 pm.  You can arrive or leave at any time that suits you during those times. On the first Saturday of each month during the summer season, we have a break around 4.30 for a drink and socialising. Senior tennis is offered all year around.

Members who play a full senior subscription are permitted to enter into our club championships and those who are interested in playing at a slightly more competitive level, can play our interclub competition on alternate Sunday afternoons.

Everyone is welcome at Redwood Tennis Club. It is a great place for families to play and ideal if you are looking for social tennis matches. You will also meet friendly, fun-loving folk who like to meet new people. You will be made to feel welcome.
