     Welcome to Redwood Tennis Club

We're a friendly community tennis club located in Redwood Park and proudly affiliated with the Suburban Tennis Clubs Association, a group of local clubs that promote enjoyable, inclusive tennis and a healthy dose of friendly competition.

 

Redwood is a club for people who enjoy getting out on court, having a hit, getting some exercise, and spending time with good people. Some of our members have played tennis for decades, while others joined having not picked up a racquet since high school. Everyone is welcome.

At Redwood, we're far more interested in whether you're enjoying yourself than whether your backhand is technically correct.

​

We offer opportunities for juniors and seniors, social players and those looking for a little friendly competition. Throughout the season, members can enjoy club tournaments, social events, and matches against neighbouring clubs, but our focus has always been on creating a club where people feel comfortable turning up and joining in.

​

Many new members tell us they were worried they wouldn't be good enough. The good news is that nobody at Redwood expects you to play like a Pro. We just ask that you enjoy yourself and don't take things too seriously.

​

Whether you're looking to learn the game, dust off an old racket, improve your skills, stay active, or meet new people, we'd love you to come and give us a try. After all, the hardest part is usually walking through the gate for the first time.
